Web Quick 1.2.1 is an intelligent enhancement for your Web browsing environment.
The World-Wide Web is the fastest growing component of the Internet today, and
the first to display styled text and graphics. To use a Web browser, you need a
modem or network access, access to the Internet, and software that enables your
computer to communicate with the Internet.
With thousands of sites to explore, finding your way around must be as easy
as possible-but the standard Bookmarks and Go menus have significant limitations.
Web Quick is the easiest, quickest way to return to a Web page or site you
recently visited. Plus, it includes some handy shortcuts to the most useful sites
on the Internet: powerful searching engines, news sources, computing resources,
and much more!
And unlike separate Bookmarking applications, it takes less than half a megabyte
of precious RAM; it's always available with just one mouse-click; and, using Web
Quick to manage Web information takes fewer steps than any competing product.
Web Quick is Accelerated for Power Macintosh, and is covered by a full one-year money-back guarantee.
1.2.1
New in version 1.2.1
---------------------------
Version 1.2.1 is a FREE update which implements maintenance fixes, and adds a bonus feature.
[Every Europa Software maintenance update includes at least one bonus feature, as a way of saying thank-you to our loyal customers.]
Copy PageMarks to Clipboard
----------------------------------------
Select a Pagemark and press Command-C to copy the PageMark's URL to the Clipboard -- great for pasting URLs into email, databases, contact records, or whatever.
If you Copy multiple items one after another while the menu is pulled down, the PageMarks are all added to the Clipboard as a group.
Automatic PageMarks Backup
----------------------------------------
At an interval you select (defaulting to 2 days), Web Quick automatically backs up the PageMark & Topics preference files within the Web Quick Prefs folder in your System Folder's Preferences folder. If something damages your PageMarks or Topics file, you have another chance to recover most of your navigation history. It's still a good idea to make a periodic backup of your Preferences files.
Page Errors Filtered Out
----------------------------------------
Blank titles, partial page loads, and standard HTML error code pages are filtered out from the Recent Web Pages (i.e. "Not Found" , "File Not found", or "Unauthorized" pages). This keeps bad URLs from cluttering your menus.
